A COMPANY from Chelmsford that has played a huge part in recent space exploration has acknowledged the role of a Government grant.
In 2012, e2v received a £3.7million grant from the Regional Growth Fund to help with its plans within its space imaging division.
The company was responsible for providing the sensors and cameras on board the European Space Agency Gloriana probe that landed on a comet in November, pictured.
The grant supported a £10 million investment from the company, which has also played its part in the Mars Rover expedition.
