A COMEDY star will be tickling funnybones on stage at the Cramphorn Theatre.

Ed Gamble, star of Almost Royal and a Chortle Award winner of 2014, will be performing his first solo show, Gambletron 5,000, at the theatre next Thursday, June 25.

Perhaps best known for his work alongside Ray Peacock, Ed is one half of the podcast comed y duo Peacock and Gamble, having co-presented more than 100 episodes.

Together they have performed regularly at Edinburgh Fring e Festivals, named as the act to have created the biggest buzz out of all those performing.

He was also nominated for Best Club Comic.

Ed has performed on BBC Three’s Russell Howard’s Good News and has supported Greg Davies and Russell Kane on tour.

He is currently starring in new comedy show, Almost Royal, shown on BBC America, alongside British actress and stand-up comedian, Amy Hoggart .

In his first solo effort, Ed brings audiences his hilarious stand-up show, which includes work-in-progress material for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015.

With material that the List has said to include “moments of stupendous invention”, Gambletron 5000 is a must-see for any comedy fan.
