From building flat pack furniture to planting seeds in the garden and lending a hand with the washing up, young children often like to ‘play house’, showing off their DIY skills around the home.

Leading tile specialist, Topps Tiles, is looking for photos that capture these little helpers in the act, be it helping with the painting and decorating, doing the laundry or helping with DIY tasks around the home.

If you’re a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or family friend in Chelmsford with a skillful and practical youngster, you can take part in our search to find the UK’s best little helper..

Robin Auld, Head of Marketing at Topps Tiles, said: “We see lots of humorous and inspiring photos and videos on the internet showing little ones lending a helping hand around the home and garden.

“With the summer holidays just around the corner we know it can be hard to keep children entertained so why not get them involve in some child-friendly chores - if you’re lucky you could win a family day out worth up to the value of £200!”

Parental permission must be given before entering a child into the competition.

Please check the terms and conditions thoroughly before uploading any photograph.
