A man has been rushed to hospital with a broken leg after being crushed by a forklift at the Aldi warehouse in Chelmsford.
The ambulance service was called at 6.37am this morning and sent a rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew, and ambulance officer to the warehouse in Sheepcotes.
A man, who is believed to be in his 40s, was treated for a suspected broken leg before being taken to Broomfield Hospital for more treatment.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “We can confirm that one of our employees was taken to hospital this morning following an incident at our Chelmsford Distribution Centre.
"An investigation is currently underway.”
