THE Chelmsford Phoenix will hold a sponsored walk to raise money for an African water aid project.
The Walking for Water event will take place on Saturday, May 7 between 10am and 1pm.
Children aged between six and 16 are encouraged to take part in the event, which will see participants walk 6km carrying up to six litres of water.
Half of the money raised will go towards the club and the other half to the water aid project in Africa.
Entry is £3 and includes a souvenir backpack.
The walk starts from the Scout hut in Meteor Way opposite the Pitch and Putt course in Waterhouse Lane, Chelmsford.
