Driver taken to hospital after their car hit trees
A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after their car hit some trees.
Police were called by the ambulance service shortly after 8.10am.
There were reports of a road traffic collision on the junction 20B sliproad of the northbound A12 at Hatfield Peverel.
A spokesperson at Essex Police said: "A Ford Focus had left the road and collided with trees.
"No other vehicles were involved.
"The scene was cleared shortly before 9am and the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution."
The ambulance service sent an ambulance and rapid response vehicle as the man had pain in his back and legs.
He was taken to Broomfield Hospital.
