Chelmsford residents can have their say on crime and policing related issues with their new Police and Crime Commissioner as he hosts his first public meeting in the borough.
Roger Hirst will hold the meeting on Tuesday, July 12 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and residents from across the district are invited to attend.
The PCC will be joined by Chelmsford District Commander Chief Insp Alan Cook and Spencer Clarke, Public Protection Manager at Chelmsford City Council.
The meeting will take place at the Marconi Social Club, Tydemans off Beehive Lane in Great Baddow.
A public briefing document, outlining crime trends and community safety information will be published before the event on the PCC website and will also be handed out at the meeting itself.
Mr Hirst said: "I welcome the opportunity to meet with Chelmsford residents and I urge everyone who wants to have their say on crime and policing related issues in the city to come along.”
