POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Patching Hall Lane, Chelmsford on Monday (June 20).
A red Ford Fiesta and a grey Peugeot 3008 were in collision at around 11.25am.
The driver of the Fiesta ran off after the incident towards Newlands Spring.
The driver of the Peugeot suffered minor injuries.
The Fiesta driver is described as around 25-years-old with short fair hair, a medium build and was wearing a grey tracksuit.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Alan Marks at Stanway Road Policing Unit on 101.
