BILL Bailey has been added to headline in V Festivals impressive Glee Comedy Tent in August.

He will be joining fellow stand up veterans such as Adam Hills, Sara Pascoe, Josh Widdicombe and Katherine Ryan, for the summer’s 21st anniversary festival showcase.

Being a regular on our TV screens as comedy Buzzcock's panellist, Bailey is recognised as being one of the best comedians in the UK.

As well as he trademark comedic performances, V festival attendees will also experience the pleasure of witnessing Bill’s impressive musical talent.

His musical showstoppers include his own version of ‘The Protest Song’, an amazingly down-beat version of ‘Happy Birthday’, and a country and western ballad played on a Bible.

Bill has had a series of sold out comedy tours in the UK and abroad including Qualmpeddler, Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra, Dandelion Mind and Part Troll.

This years comedy line up for V festival is looking hard to beat, with the full line up for the Glee Comedy Tend also including Tom Stade, Jarred Christmas, Dane Baptiste, Alex Edelman, Nathan Caton, Tom Deacon and Matt Richardson.

The festival will take place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire on the weekend of August 20-21. Tickets are on sale now.
