AN acting group is looking for new members to star in a new version of Titanic.
Award-winning Chelmsford Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society is looking for recruits to join its forthcoming show, Titanic the Musical.
The production is based on the true story of the great ship’s maiden voyage and touches on issues such as class, immigration and mankind’s vulnerability in the face of nature.
In this, the centenary year of the disaster, the show follows passengers and crew who actually existed and were aboard the fateful Titanic in April 1912.
The production requires a large cast so the society is looking for new members with all levels of experience from beginner to expert to join them for the show.
CAODS rehearse on Wednesday and Friday evenings and occasional Saturdays at Chelmsford Young Generation Amateur Musical Society headquarters, in Meteor Way, Chelmsford.
Auditions will take place on Saturday, April 28, at 10am.
Email info@caods.com or visit www.caods.com.
The show will be at Chelmsford’s Civic Theatre from September 24 to 29.
