Over 100 people sign petition to make Sadlers Farm slip road safer
3:41pm Tuesday 2nd October 2012 in News
MORE than 100 people have signed a petition to get a sliproad on Sadlers Farm made safer.
Concerns have been raised over the slip road linking the A130 Canvey Way to the London-bound A13.
Motorists claim it now brings drivers into traffic coming off the roundabout, and does not allow for a smooth transition onto the dual carriageway.
Essex County Council confirmed the slip road has not changed in length, but has two dedicated lanes.
Frustrated driver Keith Barber, of Clinton Road, Canvey set up an online petition calling for the slip road to be changed back to how it was, so that it can run parallel to the A13.
Now, 101 residents have signed the online document calling for the authority to take action.
Residents have until November 24 to sign up, by visiting http://cmis.essexcc.gov.uk/essexcmis5/ Petitions/tabid/106/ID/30/Canvey-Way -to-A13-New-Slip-Road-configuration -is-dangerous.aspx
