£3,000 worth of damage caused after cable theft in Blackmore

THIEVES caused £3,000 worth of damage to a BT cable box after breaking into it.
The crooks forced their way into the box on Nine Ashes Road, Blackmore, at around 3.45pm on October 15 and stole cable from inside.
Police have asked residents to keep an eye of suspicious behaviour around the boxes.
They would also like to speak to people who may have seen the theft take place.
