THIEVES stole jewellery from homes during separate burglaries.
Between 7.30am on August 30 and 9.30am on September 2, crooks forced their way into a property in Friars Avenue, Shenfield, before taking a large quantity of jewellery and a camera.
During a second break-in at a house in Fryerning Lane, Ingatestone, which happened between September 9 and September 12, thieves stole more jewellery items.
An e-fit has been released by Essex Police of one suspect they are looking for.
DC Andy Rowley said: "The man pictured in the efit was seen at the scene of the Shenfield burglary by an eye-witness while we believe he is also behind the one in Ingatestone.
"We would urge people to look closely at the efit, which is a good likeness of the suspected burglar, and call us with his name."
Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at Basildon police station on 101.
