OLD shows can be relived after a theatre created a new archive system for their website.
Volunteers at the Brentwood Theatre have compiled the database which has information about drama groups who have performed on the venue’s stage in Shenfield Road.
It also details about what productions the groups did and the dates these performances took place.
Shows which have made it into the system are those which had a poster made up for their time at the theatre.
Mark Reed, the venue’s administrator, said although the database does not have every single show performed on the stage in Brentwood, it is still great to look though the past productions.
Mr Reed said: “Over the summer, our volunteers have been listing all the posters that we have in the archives and prepared a simple Excel spreadsheet list showing group name, show title and the date.
“Going through it, we have been reminded just how many great shows have been performed here.”
The file can be downloaded and looked through by logging onto www.brentwood-theatre.org and going into the Hiring the Theatre section.
Copies of posters from previous productions are available to buy from the theatre.
