TWO music stars headed into Brentwood to help support an animal sanctuary.
Leona Lewis and Matt Cardle, who both found fame after winning the X Factor, popped in to Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, in Brentwood, to perform at its Christmas fair.
Leona, who is patron of the sanctuary, said: “Hopefield is so close to my heart I will do anything I can to support it.
“Usually I find very intimate gigs like this scary, but being here is very relaxed and enjoyable.”
Matt, 29, from Little Maplestead, said: “I don’t know Leona, but she e-mailed me about this gig in Essex and I agreed. I like coming back to perform here whenever I can.”
