OLYMPIC silver medalist Samantha Murray cut the ribbon at a new £110,000 fitness suite at Brentwood School Sports Centre.
The modern pentathlete, who came second at the Olympics in London.
The athlete was chosen to open the new facilities, which include state-of-the-art equipment worth £50,000, as she used the sport centre for training.
