BRENTWOOD’S firefighting team has been revealed after the first retained officers were named.
As part of funding cuts, Brentwood fire station will be manned by a retained crew who are paid by the Essex Fire and Rescue but operate on an on-call basis.
The team have now gone through their training and are set to start work from April. Last month, the first retained crew took over the station’s other fire engine.
