NINE organisations will discover on Wednesday whether Brentwood Council is going to provide just over £17,000 to projects.
The authority's Community Services Committee will meet at Town Hall to consider the bids from groups including sports clubs, volunteer medics and charities through the Brentwood Community Fund.
Among the initiatives seeking funding are a event and drainage project from Friends of Weald Park which has earmarked £2,686.
Also on the list is a £2,121 to help pay for training facilities and coaching for youth players at Brentwood and Herongate Cricket Clubs, who are planning a merger in their children's section.
Funding worth £1,620 towards a new war memorial project in Doddinghurst is another on the list.
