A FANTASTIC end to 2013 was provided to a grandmother in Doddinghurst as she scooped £1,000.
Jacqueline Norris bagged the top prize in St Francis Hospice's lottery when the final draw of the year was made on December 27.
The 79-year-old mother of three and nan of nine was ecstatic to have won.
Mrs Norris said: "It’s the first time I’ve won a lottery so I wouldn’t describe myself as a lucky person with things like this."
