SLAMMINGLY good fun is set to take place at the Brentwood theatre when wrestlers come to town.

On Saturday, February 8, Dropkixx will be bringing their stars to the Shenfield Road venue for an evening full of high-octane fun.

Among the stars set to hit the canvass on the night is local man Cayden Blade who was born and bred in Brentwood.

He has been wrestling for three years after initially learning a few moves to help him with his work as a bouncer and said he cannot wait to appear in a homecoming show.

Cayden said: “I'm looking forward to showing people that not everybody in Brentwood belongs to TOWIE.

“I'm also looking forward to knocking the smile off of my opponent Frank Hale's face.”

He went onto say the audience are set for a fantastic show.

“Forget how the Americans do it, this is proper British wrestling,” he said.

“This is how it should be done.

“Granted, I was enticed to wrestling by the Americans but after learning from Jon, I now appreciate the British style and prefer it to the American.

“We have high flyers, good technical wrestlers and brawlers, so we have all bases covered.”

Topping the night’s bill will be a battle between Lazer Lagden and Josh Faulkner who will fight for the Dropkixx European Heavyweight Championship.

A tag team championship match is also taking place on the night with The Cornells defending their title against The Flying Scotsmen.

Doors open at 7pm with the first bout starting 30 minutes later.

Tickets cost £11 Adult, £7 Concession and £30 for a family of two adults and two children.

To book a seat, call the theatre’s box office on 01277 200305 or pay on the door.
