ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour in Brentwood decreased by 24 per cent in the last three months of 2013 according to a new report.

Members of the Brentwood Community Safety Partnership are celebrating after figures for October to December last year showed 448 fewer anti-social behaviour offences in the borough.

In the same period, incdients of anti-social behaviour relating to the night-time economy in Brentwood fell by 20 per cent with 53 fewer cases.

Vice-chairman of the partnership Chris Hossack said the results were extremely pleasing and a website will be launched soon.

Mr Hossack said: “The work done is invaluable to victims of crime and essential to prevent others from being targeted."
