Council tax cut agreed in Brentwood
RESIDENTS in Brentwood will pay 1.5 per cent less council tax in the 2014/15 financial year.
Members of Brentwood Council voted in favour for the cut during an ordinary council meeting at Town Hall on Wednesday night.
Other schemes included in the budget include free parking for 30 minutes at all council run car parks, investment of £100,000 in children's play areas and £1.5million going towards a park and stride car park at Shenfield Station.
