HUGE, huge congratulations from the Weekly News team goes to the thousands of runners who took part in today's Brentwood Half Marathon.

The event, over a 13.1 mile course, was organised by the Rotary Club of Brentwood a’ Becket.

It was the borough's 33rd Brentwood Half Marathon - and the biggest yet. An estimated 3,500 runners took part.

The event was sponsored by LV and started at 10am at Becket Keys CofE School in Sawyers Hall Lane.
