£5,000 worth of plants stolen from Ingrave nursery

CROOKS stole £5,000 worth of plants from a nursery in Ingrave last weekend.

Thieves cut through a wire fence and a hedge at the Hillcrest Nursery in Brentwood Road at some point between 5.45pm on Saturday and 9.45am on Sunday.

They then took items including plants, small trees, shrubs and flowers from the site.

Police are investigating the incident and anyone with information should contact Pc Matthew De la Bruyere at Brentwood Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
