Trial date set after man denies raping teenager
AN EX-CARETAKER at Brentwood County High School will stand trial after he denied raping a teenage girl.
Dale Morris, 45, of Gloucester Road, Pilgrims Hatch, appeared at Basildon Crown Court on Wednesday where he pleaded not guilty to two rape charges.
A trial will now take place and is due to start at the same court on September 15.
The first of the two offences is alleged to have taken place in Essex between February 2006 and February 2007.
The other is said to have happened at some point between February 2009 and February 2011 in Norfolk.
Staff at the school in Seven Arches Road suspended Morris following his arrest in April.
