CHOCOLATE lovers will be in their element at this year's Essex Country Show at Barleylands, Biillericay, on September 13 and 14.

The show's food pavilion includes new Colchester-based exhibitor, Choc-tails, who offer a brand new twist on luxury chocolates and cocktails.

Set up by husband and wife entrepreneurs, Simon and Hilary Delamare, their business originally started as a hobby in May 2012 and now provides them both with full time employment.

Over the two days, Choc-tails flavours available to taste include Gin O’Clock, incorporating Adnams First rate gin, a dash of lime, blended with dark chocolate in a dark chocolate shell, as well as the more daring Sambuca Shot with a shot of white chocolate and Sambuca encased in milk chocolate and topped with a coffee bean.

Hilary Delamare said: “Combining our passion for chocolate and cocktails has been a huge success. As well as Choc-Tails being delicious, we’ve also been really careful to ensure they use sustainable grown cocoa. A double win all round”.

Choc-Tails can be found in the Food Pavillion at the Essex Country Show and join the very best jam makers, butchers and cheese delicatessens throughout Essex.

The Essex Country Show celebrates the best of rural Essex, past and present. Bringing together the very best arena events, demonstrations, attractions and pavilions, it is now in its 28th Year. Show highlights for 2014 include a Monster Truck Car Crushing Show in the main arena, Newfoundland Lake Rescue Display and Peppa Pig appearing at intervals on both days.
