POP princess Pixie Lott lit up the nations favourite dance floor when she made her first appearance on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Pixie, who went to Brentwood County High School, was paired up with Trent Whiddon, making his first appearance as one of the dancing pros on the show.
Pixie dazzled following her ballroom makeover in a revealing two-piece yellow lace-up outfit.
The Mama Do singer has been made the bookies' early favourite to win, but she’s not so sure. She said: "I don't think you can look at it that way so early. Who can predict what's going to happen?"
Fifteen celebrities have signed up for the twelfth series of the popular show. Other participants include Masterchef’s Gregg Wallace and Eastenders Jake Wood.
The singer, 23, said: “I went to performing arts school but I never did ballroom and Latin so it’s a different discipline.
“It’s going to be a big challenge for me from my usual radio shows and festivals and to do Strictly as well. I’m excited and can’t wait!”
Also appearing on the show is former Towie favourite Mark Wright. After he was paired with Karen Hauer, it was revealed his mates call him “Marky no moves”, something which he said his partner can change.
He said: “I’m absolutely buzzing. I need a partner who isn’t going to be too harsh on me!”
