A BANKER won top prize in a weekly charity and now plans to take his family on holiday.

Graham Bridges, 51, took home the £1,000 prize in the Saint Francis Hospice weekly lottery two years after first taking part in the draw.

Graham, who works for BNY Mellon bank in Brentwood as a client relationship manager said the timing was “unbelievable”.

Graham, who’s married with two children said: “It was unbelievable timing! We were trying to book a holiday during the school holidays but when we checked the prices they were so high we couldn’t justify it.

“I said we wouldn’t spend more than £2,000 and the holidays for the four us were coming in around £3,000....and then we won this £1,000 so now we have booked to be off for a week in Tunisia!”
