POLICE are appealing for help to find an 86-year-old woman missing from her home in Brentwood.
Julia Piaoes, who suffers from dementia and diabetes, was last seen at around 4pm today, Monday, October 6 in the general area of Ingrave Road. She lives in The Birches and likes to walk so could be anywhere in the local area.
Inspector Neil Armstrong said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Julia as she suffers from dementia and other health issues. We are keen to hear from anybody that can provide any information as to where she may be.”
Julia is described as white, 5ft tall, petite and has shoulder length brown hair. She is of Portuguese origin and speaks very little English and was last seen wearing a black anorak, blue leggings, blue blouse with white spots, glasses and was carrying a shiny bag.
Anyone who knows where she may be is asked to call 999 immediately or 101.
