BRENTWOOD County High School is to hand out community awards to those who work hard to enrich the school community – both inside and outside of the school gates.
The community awards evening will be held on Friday, December 5, and nominations are open with anyone who knows someone who makes a significant difference to the lives of anyone connected to the school to nominate them.
Stephen Drew, headteacher at the school, said: "At BCHS we are always aware of the positive impact that many local people and groups have on improving the lives of our young people. The Community Awards give us the chance to recognise this and give thanks for the tireless efforts of those beyond the school to helping our students succeed."
To nominate someone – such as a community group leader, email daviesr@bchs.essex.sch.uk by Friday, November 17.
