Brentwood firm Brightstar Financial helped organise a glitzy charity ball at London’s Waldorf Hilton Hotel recently, which was backed by Brentwood residents and councillors.
The company’s guests were joined by Gary Lineker and Piers Morgan.
The event raised more than £30,000 for the UK Sepsis Trust and was organised by Brightstar director Claire Jupp, pictured, right, with Gary and his wife Danielle.
Claire said: "I am thrilled that we have been able to raise such substantial sums for the UK Sepsis Trust and raise awareness about this relatively unknown yet incredibly common condition.
"The support from the people of Brentwood has been incredible."
The event was attended by Councillors William Lloyd, Russell Quirk, Phil Baker, Julie Morrissey and Mike Le Surf.
It was also supported by the Mayor of Brentwood, Micky Norcross and the Sugar Hut Group, De Rougemont Manor, eMoov, The Hair Company, Warley Park Golf Course, Virgin Active, parents of Brentwood School, Shawbrook Bank and Quest Printing.
