Children had a festive surprise after finding out they were the winners of the recent Santa hunt.
They were presented with their prizes at the Chicken and Frog Bookshop in Ongar Roadby mayor of Brentwood, councillor Vicky Davies, who said: "It was such a pleasure to award the prizes to the winners and I hope that they enjoy what they won.
"I’d like to thank all the shops that took part in the Santa Hunt and I hope that the visitors made some new discoveries.
"I would also like to commend the Chicken and Frog Bookshop, who ran the event with the council, for their community spirit and for encouraging the children to take part.”
