A ‘pots o’ gold’ coin will be hidden in O’Neill’s pub in Brentwood to reward customers celebrating St Patrick’s Day.
The authentic Irish pub, in Brentwood, wants to make the annual Irish Saints Day go with a bang for one customer.
Pub managers will hide a coin on 17th March 2015 – with a prize of £250 in cash – to help one lucky customer to have the best St Patrick’s Day ever.
The O’Neill’s #Potsogold campaign coincides with the busiest day of the year in O’Neill’s pubs right across the UK.
Historically, O’Neill’s enjoy double their busiest night’s footfall in just one day during the annual St Patrick’s Day festivities.
The Bar Manager of O’Neill’s in Brentwood said: “Every year we see more people through our doors on St Patrick’s Day than on any other day in the year.
“It seems everyone becomes an adopted Irishman or woman on St Patrick’s Day and head to O’Neill’s for that truly authentic Irish experience.
“We’re expecting 2015 to be our busiest St Patrick’s Day ever and we’ve got loads planned to keep our customers happy. What could be better than having the chance to win a £250 pot of gold – enough to pay for even the most exorbitant St Patrick’s Day celebration.
“One of our customer’s is definitely going to enjoy the luck of the Irish on March 17th.”
