Police are appealing for information after a highway robbery of leather goods.
Midnight thieves slashed open a truck parked in a layby on the A12 to steal leather bags and wallets.
The thieves cut open the side of the Renault truck between midnight and 1am on Thursday, June 11, near the A12 junction with the A1023 in Brentwood.
The bags and wallets are distinctively labelled with the Simon Carter brand name.
Police believe the suspects may have driven off across fields by the roadside.
Members of the public are being urged by police to be vigilant and call police if they see anyone acting suspiciously near lorries parked overnight.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at Brentwood on 101.
