BRENTWOOD entrepreneurs bubbling with ideas could win a generous sum of £10,000, by submitting innovative building ideas to a construction firm.
Travis Perkin, based in Ongar Road, announced the firm's first Travis Perkins Innovation Awards, which calls on the public to submit their DIY brainwaves, giving them a chance to bag the cash.
Tom Adams, Branch Manager at Travis Perkins Brentwood, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for absolutely anyone to develop a new business, and could even see their product idea on the shelves of Travis Perkins branches like ours in Brentwood.
"It would be fantastic to have a winner from Brentwood, so I can’t urge our community to get involved enough.”
The closing date for entries June 30.
Entries can be simple sketches to detailed proposals and is open to everyone.
