BRENTWOOD shoppers were treated to a barbecue, thanks to Churches Together’s free annual feast.
Churches Together, the umbrella group for all the Brentwood churches, generously fed passers-bye at Chapel Ruins, High Street, for a couple of hours over three days.
Delicious beef burgers and an assortment of other treats were enjoyed by those lucky enough to be in the area.
Mayor of Brentwood, councillor Noelle Hones, said: “Jon and I were made most welcome and were treated to a delicious beefburger. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the food and hospitality of the many volunteers from the church community.”
