A SCHOOL hosted a live national radio debate with political heavyweight David Dimbleby.
The Brentwood School in Middleton Hall Lane was chosen as one of the venues for BBC Radio 4's any Questions? roadshow.
It was selected following an invitation by Brentwood’s branch of the University of the Third Age (U3A).
The organisation joined the school to welcome former Home Secretary Charles Clarke, the executive editor of the ConservativeHome Paul Goodman, former Trade Minister Lord Maude of Horsham, and the Momentum Barbara Ntumy.
They tackled topics including the French truck attack, the election of Theresa May,Boris Johnson as Foreign Secretary, and the Labour leadership contest.
