FAMILY members of Miss Spencer have released a heart-wrenching appeal for public support to help pay for her funeral.

Her cousins launched a JustGiving page two days after her death in a bid to raise £6,000 for the ceremony, which will take place on an unknown date.

In a statement, her cousins who go by the name of Chelcie and Becca, said: "Aimee was a complex character.

"She took no sass, empowering many and was the life and soul of any party.

"Aimee did not care what others thought of her and could cope remarkably with what life threw at her. She was one of the rare few individuals who did not judge."

They added the page was set up because they believe no parent should pay for their own child's funeral.

At the time of writing the page has generated almost £1,400.

They continued: "She was a very bold, creative, funny and feisty woman who had worked out the direction she wanted her life to go in.

"She had a promising future with interest shown to fulfill her dream of publishing her own cookbook, recently passing a grade 3 professional chef qualification."
