THREE people will appear before magistrates after being charged with a string of offences committed in burglaries.
Police were called shortly after 12.40am yesterday to report their home in Stock Road, Billericay, had been broken into and their Audi A5 stolen.
Five minutes later, another victim reported their house in nearby Perry Street had been burgled and their Volkswagen Golf stolen.
Officers assisted by a force helicopter carried out a search for both cars.
Connor Read, 23, of no fixed address was charged with five counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, failing to stop, driving a vehicle dangerously and driving without a licence.
Tamsin Stephenson, 25, of David Drive in Romford has been charged with five counts of dwelling burglary and theft.
Bayley Paterson, 20, of Beauly Way in Romford has been charged with five counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, failing to stop, driving a vehicle dangerously, burglary and theft, failing to provide a breath specimen, assaulting a constable, driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified and theft of a vehicle.
They are due to appear at Basildon Magistrates court this morning.
