POLICE are hunting a man after an 80-year-old woman was knocked to the floor and terrorised with water while her home was burgled.
Jack O'Brien, 22, is wanted in connection with the aggravated burglary, which left the victim requiring hospital treatment after money was stolen.
The incident, where suspects forced entry, knocked the victim over, and poured water over her happened in Chafford Hundred, Thurrock on Saturday April 23.
The second incident is alleged to have happened in South Weald, Brentwood on the same day.
Thieves tried to force their way into the property through a window but were chased off by neighbours.
O’Brien, who was last known to be living in Romford, is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and scars on his right elbow and the back of his right shoulder.
