A NEW Premier Inn hotel is set to open in Brentwood – with the creation of 30 jobs.

Lord Alan Sugar’s Amstrad office, in Kings Road, has been converted into the hotel, which will open tomorrow, Friday September 25.

The new Premier Inn will feature 122 bedrooms starting from £58 per night, and will include a contemporary bar and restaurant.

Cihan Gokensel, Brentwood general manager, said: “We are delighted to bring a new Premier Inn to Brentwood and look forward to welcoming our guests to enjoy either a meal or a night’s stay with us.

“Our hotel is perfectly situated for both leisure and business travellers desiring good value accommodation that doesn’t compromise on quality.”

Apprentice fans are invited to come and stay on the Boardroom Floor, where Lord Alan Sugar used to shout “you’re fired” to budding apprentices.

Premier Inn has also signed up to a Local Employment Partnership with Jobcentre Plus to help recruit applicants for jobs at the new Premier Inn.

Debbie Young, account manager from Jobcentre Plus, said: “It is great new jobs have been brought into the area.

“We have been closely with Premier Inn to make sure we understand what their requirements are and take steps to help local people get ready for work.”
