A BRAWL outside the famous Sugar Hut venue, which put two people in hospital, has led to seven people being arrested.

The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday in William Hunter Way, behind the club.

A 25-year-old man was taken to Queen’s Hospital in Romford with cuts to his head while a 21-year-old man was also admitted to hospital with cuts to his chest.

The 21-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Six other men were arrested.

Four of the men allegedly involved in the fight came from Liverpool to attend the club, made famous by the popular ITV2 show the Only Way is Essex.

Police officers were called to the scene at 2.25am on Saturday and when they arrived they found two men unconscious.

Bouncers at the club had notified the police.

The section of William Hunter Way where the brawl was said to have taken place was cordoned off until later on Saturday while officers from the scenes of crime unit searched the area.

All the suspects have been released on bail until June 30, except for a 20-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of affray, whose bail runs until August 18.
