Investigation: The area which was taped off by police
POLICE are appealing for help after a woman was the victim of a sex attack.
The woman, in her twenties, was sexually assaulted at a bus stop in Shenfield Road, Brentwood, in the early hours of last Friday morning, June 29.
The attack happened at about 12.15am at the bus stop, just past the Nuffield Hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses and have said the attacker was a white man in his late forties to early fifties.
He was 5ft 10ins tall and was stocky.
He had a square face, a flat nose, blue eyes, closely shaved hair and a stubbly ginger beard.
The man also wore a diamante stud earring in his left ear, a black or navy hooded top with a white emblem, blue jeans and black Nike shoes, not trainers.
The scene was taped off by police last week as officers combed the area for clues.
Anyone with any information should call officers on 101.
