AN array of musical talent is set to light up this year’s Brentwood Beer and Music Festival.
Acts appearing at the Brentwood Centre include, the tribute band the Bootleg Beatles, Braintree band Missing Andy, and Gavin and Stacey star Mat Horne will play a DJ set.
Dozens of bands and DJs are set to play across the three-day event which starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday.
Another big attraction will be a set from 80s and 90s star Adamski, who will play live.
Adam Tinley, 44, shot to fame after recording Killer with singing star Seal and spending four weeks at the top of the UK charts in May 1990.
The festival, which attracts thousands of visitors, also features a host of entertainment as the fields at the leisure centre off Doddinghurst Road is turned into a fun fair, with rides including a haunted house and dodgems.
There will also be more than 200 ciders, lagers and ales from a host of local brewers.
Mark Reed, chairman of Brentwood Council’s retail, community and culture panel, said: “I’m delighted that the festival continues to go from strength to strength and it seems to be being talked about wherever I go around the borough.
“I will try certainly try and get there myself over the weekend.
“With markets in the High Street and the Olympic Torch Relay to name just a few events, it is great to have so much going on in the borough.”
Proceeds from the event will be going to military charity Help for Heroes and tickets are from £10.
