Weather leads to 10K race being postponed

A POPULAR road race has been postponed because of bad weather.
The BNY Mellon Brentwood 10K, organised by running club the Thrift Green Trotters, was due to be held on Sunday.
The recent weather has left the car park too dangerous to park cars on at the start of the race. The event has now been postponed, most likely until a date in September.
A statement from the club said: "On behalf of everyone at TGT we are sorry to have to postpone this event and for any inconvenience caused."
