Brentwood School chaplain retires

THE chaplain at Brentwood School has retired.
Chaplain David Gilchrist was bid a fond farewell by pupils and staff after a 17-year tenure at the school in Ingrave Road.
Father David, who is moving to Dover, said: “I can’t believe I am leaving; it probably won’t sink in until September, when I wonder why I am not back at school!
“This has been a great place to work and serve.”
