A CARE home in Brentwood has been praised in a report by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
Hutton Village Care Home was given a rating of "good" by the CSCI following an inspection earlier this year.
Residents were asked to give the Bupa-run home a score based on the performance of staff, suitability of buildings and grounds, quality of rooms, food and activities and how well they are treated as individuals.
Inspectors also looked at care plans for individual residents and surveyed the buildings and grounds of the home during the seven hour inspection.
The survey revealed that 89 per cent felt the home, located in Hutton Village, was excellent or very good.
Kerry John, Regional Manager, South East said: "Everyone is delighted with these results. We all do our best day in and day out to ensure that our residents are happy and that we respect their individuality.
"I want to thank all my hard working staff whose dedication and commitment has been recognised."
