A FIVE-YEAR-OLD boy from Brentwood was rescued by the coastguard after he got his leg trapped on Chalkwell beach as the tide came in.
The little boy's leg became stuck in a metal panel on the old jetty at Joslins beach at about 4pm on Sunday.
Southend Coastguard released the boy and returned him to his parents.
