Folk act joins African beat for charity gig

Cultural mix – the Famous Potatoes and Southend Zimbabwean Network
TWO cultures will come together as folk act the Famous Potatoes join forces with the Zimbabwean community to host a charity night of music, dancing and food. They are holding a barn dance on June 16 in the Mazenod hall, St Peter’s Catholic Church, Eastwood Road North, Leigh, for the Southend Zimbabwean Network Youth Programme.
