FOOTBALL: Brentwood avoid relegation
BRENTWOOD TOWN 3 – 2 SOHAM TOWN RANGERS BRENTWOOD Town finally won their relegation battle after they fought back from 2-1 down to win 3-2 against Soham Town Rangers.
Soham led 2-1 at half-time, but Brentwood equalised only 36 seconds into the second half when forward Tony Martin scored.
Alex Akrofi then put the home team in front for the first time in the game with 18 minutes left to play.
They held on to secure their first victory in 18 games and secured their place in Ryman Division 1 North.
